The city is served by the Montclair Transit Center, which is a major hub for the Omnitrans bus system. The Montclair Transit Center is also served by Metrolink, the commuter rail system for the Inland Empire.

1. Claremont
Claremont, California is located in the eastern part of Los Angeles County and is considered part of the Inland Empire. It is a suburb of Los Angeles and is about 30 miles from downtown. Claremont is known for its tree-lined streets and quaint downtown area. 2. Upland
Upland is a city located in San Bernardino County, California, in the Inland Empire region of the state. The city is situated at an elevation of 1,242 feet (379 m) above sea level. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 73,732, up from 68,393 at the 2000 census.
Upland originally was an irrigation colony established by George and William Chaffey during the 1880s. When the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway built a branch line from San Bernardino through Upland to the north, the colony turned into a small town. It was incorporated on May 15, 1906, nearly a year before the adjacent city of Ontario. Originally an agricultural community, Upland now is mostly a bedroom community for the larger cities of the Inland Empire.
The city’s public high school is named after its founder, George Chaffey.
3. La Verne
Just outside of Los Angeles, La Verne is a beautiful college town with a lot to offer residents and visitors alike. The tree-lined streets and historic buildings give the town a charming small-town feel, while the selection of shops, restaurants, and things to do give it all the amenities of a much larger city. 4. San Dimas
San Dimas is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 33,371. The city is located in the San Gabriel Valley, east of the city of Los Angeles.
San Dimas is bordered by the cities of La Verne, Glendora, and Covina. It is home to Bonelli Regional Park, which contains Puddingstone Reservoir.
The city’s history can be traced back to the 18th century, when Spanish missionaries established the San Gabriel Mission in the area. The city was later incorporated in 1960.
San Dimas is known for its small-town feel and its access to outdoor recreation. The city has a number of parks and trails, as well as a golf course and a public swimming pool.

Chino’s agricultural history dates back to the Spanish land grant forming Rancho Santa Ana del Chino. The area specialized in orchard, row crops and dairy. Downtown Chino is home to the historic Butterfield Stagecoach Stop and the original home of the McAfee Mansion.
Some of the most notable employers in Chino are Cal-Maine Foods, Chino Valley Medical Center, Pepperidge Farm, and Rubidoux Community Hospital. The city is also home to the Southland Logistics Airport.
The city has a total area of 22.0 square miles (57 km2). 21.7 square miles (56 km2) of it is land and 0.3 square miles (0.78 km2) of it (1.39%) is water.
The 2010 United States Census reported that Chino had a population of 77,983. The racial makeup of Chino was 42,764 (54.9%) White (31.4% Non-Hispanic White), 5,840 (7.5%) African American, 487 (0.6%) Native American, 2,965 (3.8%) Asian, 119 (0.2%) Pacific Islander, 16,903 (21.6%) from other races, and 3,236 (4.1%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 33,171 persons (42.3%).
7. Chino Hills
Chino Hills is a city located in the southwestern corner of San Bernardino County, California, United States. The city borders Los Angeles County and Orange County. The city had a population of 74,799 as of 2010.
Chino Hills was ranked 34th in Money magazine’s “Best Places to Live” in the United States in 2010. The magazine based its rankings on factors such as job growth, schools, safety, and affordability.
In 2008, Forbes ranked Chino Hills as the 57th most expensive area to live in the United States. In 2006, Chino Hills was ranked as the 13th safest city in the United States by the FBI.
The city is home to the Vellano Country Club, which was ranked by Golf Digest as one of the top 100 private golf courses in the United States.
8. Ontario
Ontario is a city located in southwestern San Bernardino County, California, United States, 35 miles (56 km) east of downtown Los Angeles. It is the principal city of the Inland Empire region, as well as the county seat of San Bernardino County. As of the 2010 Census, the city had a population of 163,924, making it the 170th-largest city in the state, and the fourth-largest city in San Bernardino County.
Ontario is home to the Ontario International Airport, which is the 15th busiest airport in the United States by cargo traffic. It is also the home of Ontario Mills and the Citizens Business Bank Arena.
The first people to settle in the area now known as Ontario were the Serrano, a group of Native Americans who lived in the San Bernardino Mountains. They were later joined by the Luiseño, another group of Native Americans.
In 1810, the Spanish Empire granted 60,000 acres (24,000 ha) of land to Jose Maria de Echeandia, which he used to establish Rancho San Antonio. The ranch eventually grew to encompass 44,800 acres (18,100 ha).
In 1882, the California Southern Railroad (now part of the Union Pacific Railroad) built a line through the area, and a station was established. The community that grew around the station became known as North Ontario.
In 1891, the Ontario Railway and Irrigation Company built a line from Pomona to Chino. The company used the land to build an irrigation system to water the crops in the area.
In 1911, the Ontario and San Antonio Heights Railway Company built a line from North Ontario to San Antonio Heights.
In 1926, the Upland-Ontario International Airport was built.
In the 1940s, the population of North Ontario grew rapidly, and the area became known as the City of Ontario.
In 1953, the City of Ontario was incorporated.
In the 1970s, Ontario experienced a population boom, as many people moved to the city from the Los Angeles area.
In the 1980s, the city became home to a large number of immigrants from Southeast Asia and Latin America.
In the 1990s, the City of Ontario underwent a major redevelopment, which included the construction of new shopping malls, office buildings, and housing developments.
Today, the City of Ontario is a thriving community of 163,924 people. The city is home to a diverse population, and is a major center of commerce and industry in the Inland Empire region.
9. Rancho Cucamonga
Rancho Cucamonga is a suburb of Los Angeles, located in San Bernardino County, California. The city is about 37 miles east of Downtown Los Angeles. The population of Rancho Cucamonga is just over 175,000.
