A fourth anchor, The Emporium, was added in 1976. The Emporium was converted to Macy’s Men’s and Home store in 1995, and then to Macy’s in 2006. The mall was renovated in 1993. A food court and 16-screen Century Theatres multiplex were added at that time.
Bayfair Center underwent another renovation in 2006. The mall’s exterior was renovated and an additional wing was added, which includes a Forever 21 store and a 24 Hour Fitness center. The mall is currently anchored by Macy’s, J.C. Penney, and Sears. It also includes a food court and the 16-screen Century Theatres multiplex.
Bayfair Center is located at the intersection of Interstate 880 and Hesperian Boulevard in San Leandro, California. It is situated near the San Leandro Marina, the San Leandro BART station, and the Oakland Zoo.
