City Rocklin is a city in Placer County, California, United States. The population was 66,135 at the 2019 census. Rocklin is the fifth largest city in Placer County.Rocklin is part of the Sacramento metropolitan area.
The City of Rocklin was incorporated on October 23, 1893. The city is located at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, about 30 miles from Sacramento, the state capital.
