Lemoore is a city located in Kings County, California. The city is located near the center of the California Central Valley, about 107 miles (172 km) southeast of downtown Fresno and about 77 miles (124 km) northwest of Bakersfield. Lemoore is part of the Hanford–Corcoran metropolitan area, which has a population of 151,145. The population was 24,531 at the 2010 census. Lemoore is home to two naval facilities: Naval Air Station Lemoore, the U.S. Navy’s largest Master Jet Base, and the Lemoore Naval Air Station Hospital.
Lemoore is located at an elevation of 207 feet (63 m). It lies west of the San Joaquin River in the middle of the California Central Valley, approximately 107 miles (172 km) southeast of downtown Fresno and 77 miles (124 km) northwest of Bakersfield. The city has a total area of 10.71 square miles (27.7 km2). 10.59 square miles (27.4 km2) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 km2) of it (1.13%) is covered by water.

The lowest temperature on record was 19 °F (−7 °C) on January 8, 1913.
Lemoore averages 27.5 inches (700 mm) of precipitation per year. The wettest year on record was 1983 with 43.05 inches (1,092.4 mm) of precipitation. The most precipitation in one month was 13.65 inches (347.1 mm) in February 1998. The most precipitation in 24 hours was 5.72 inches (145.3 mm) on December 6, 1966. Snowfall is very rare in Lemoore, but 3.0 inches (7.6 cm) fell on January 3, 1930.
Lemoore has a diverse economy with a strong focus on agriculture, manufacturing, and healthcare. The top employers in the city are Naval Air Station Lemoore, Kings County Hospital, and the Lemoore Union School District. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3,143 persons (26.9%).

The racial makeup of Westside Lemoore was 6,462 (51.3%) White, 587 (4.6%) African American, 201 (1.6%) Native American, 713 (5.6%) Asian, 88 (0.7%) Pacific Islander, 3,844 (30.4%) from other races, and 682 (5.4%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 7,131 persons (56.2%).

The racial makeup of the CDP was 58.93% White, 15.91% African American, 1.13% Native American, 5.27% Asian, 0.19% Pacific Islander, 11.13% from other races, and 7.51% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 21.57% of the population.
There were 2,592 households, out of which 53.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.8% were married couples living together, 16.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 13.7% were non-families. 10.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 2.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.55 and the average family size was 3.80.
In the CDP, the population was spread out, with 35.8% under the age of 18, 10.9% from 18 to 24, 30.3% from 25 to 44, 16.5% from 45 to 64, and 6.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 27 years. For every 100 females, there were 101.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.0 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $33,750, and the median income for a family was $33,889. Males had a median income of $29,375 versus $20,313 for females. Southeast Lemoore is located in the southeast corner of Lemoore, at an elevation of 207 feet (63 m).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.9 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 2,945 people, 1,016 households, and 719 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 2,681.4 people per square mile (1,031.4/km2). There were 1,078 housing units at an average density of 975.5 per square mile (377.4/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 62.7% White, 5.2% African American, 1.1% Native American, 2.4% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 25.0% from other races, and 3.5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 54.1% of the population.
There were 1,016 households, out of which 41.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.5% were married couples living together, 13.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.9% were non-families. 20.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.90 and the average family size was 3.38.
In the CDP, the population was spread out, with 32.2% under the age of 18, 11.0% from 18 to 24, 31.3% from 25 to 44, 16.4% from 45 to 64, and 9.1% who were 65 years of age or older.
