Visalia is the fifth largest city in the U.S. state of California, located in the San Joaquin Valley. The city had a population of 131,767 as of the 2010 census.
Visalia is the county seat of Tulare County and is the economic and governmental center of the county. It is also the principal city of the Visalia-Porterville metropolitan area, which has a population of 442,179.
