6. Oak Knoll
Oak Knoll is a census-designated place (CDP) in Napa County, California, United States. It is the former location of the now-defunct Oak Knoll Naval Hospital. The population was 2,563 at the 2010 census.

In 1942, the U.S. Navy purchased land in the Oak Knoll area for the construction of a hospital to serve the needs of the growing number of service members during World War II. The hospital opened in 1945 and operated for nearly 50 years, before closing in 1995.
The Oak Knoll Naval Hospital site was redeveloped into a mixed-use community in the early 21st century. The community includes residential, retail, and office space, as well as a hotel and conference center.
The Oak Knoll community is served by the Napa Valley Unified School District.There are two elementary schools, Silverado Middle School, and Vintage High School.
